Justin O'Shea, the bearded, tattooed, and eccentrically dressed global fashion director of mtheresa.com will be leaving his post at the end of March, as announced by the company.

O'Shea joined the retailer in 2001, and in January he was promoted to global fashion director. While it came as a surprise to many in the industry that O'Shea would leave a post that he was just promoted to, sources say that he will be heading to a new position at another company.

Prior to his career at mytheresa.com, O'Shea, an Australian native, worked for denim retailers in both Australia and Amsterdam. He has also been the buyer for Al Ostoura, a luxury retailer in Kuwait with around 40 stores.

A replacement for O'Shea has yet to be confirmed by mytheresa.com's parent company Neiman Marcus.

In a statement, the company's president Michael Kliger said "We would like to thank Justin for his vast contributions to the success of Mytheresa.com. His vision and passion have played a key role in growing the business, developing the brand and strengthening vendor relationships. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors.”
