New York - Mytheresa.com, the luxury e-commerce website offering apparel from brands such as Burberry, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, and Christian Louboutin, has named Markus Holzherr their new Chief Financial Officer. He has spent the last three years working as the head of finance for the Munich-based company, so his new appointment was long in the making. Michael Kliger, president of mytheresa.com, said in a statement "Owing to the terrific growth of the company and its status as a subsidiary of the Neiman Marcus Group, the finance department must account for new challenges. We’re delighted to recognize (Markus’) work with this title."

Despite Holzherr's new title, the managerial structure of the company will not change at all. Kliger will continue on as president, while Jen Riewenherm will continue as managing director. Holzherr will report directly to Kliger. While Holzherr doesn't have a very wide breadth of fashion experience, he is no stranger to helping the gears of a company turn.

He came to mytheresa.com with experience working in banking and mobile communications. Prior to heading up the company's finance department he worked at ProSiebenSat.1 Media Agency in Unterfohring, Bavaria. He is certain to continue to bring great insight to the future of the luxury e-commerce channel.
