Bergdorf’s is capitalizing on Rihanna’s celebrity gravitas and will be playing host to a pop-up shop for the musician’s Fenty collection. In addition, Rihanna will also be invited to guest edit bg.com for a week. The pop-up will arrive on February 3, just in time for New York Fashion week.
Rihanna will also have creative control of Bergdorf's Fifth Avenue display window. The shop will be one of the first to offer upcoming pieces from Fenty's February 20 drop, and will not only feature Rihanna's line, but also products from some of her favorite designers.
Bergdorf's has been one of Rihanna's longest standing retail partners, having first partnered with the musician in 2016 for her Fenty Puma collection for a launch event. Rihanna's Fenty line is the first new brand backed by LVMH since Christian Lacroix in 1987. The musician has well established herself in the fashion industry not only as a red carpet icon, but with her Fenty Puma and Savage x Fenty lines. Like all things with Rihanna's name on it, expect the lines at Bergdorf to be out the door.
