Brooks Brothers is taking their Golden Fleece collection and expanding it into an entire lifestyle category. During New York Fashion Week: Men's, the company unveiled a new set of sportswear offerings for the label, moving them beyond just being a tailored clothing line.

The collection includes a Loro Piana storm-system jacket, a fur-lined nylon parka, a glen plaid cashmere topcoat, and merino sweaters that have been constructed without sewing or seams.

Price points for the collection surpass even Brooks Brothers' other high-end label Black Fleece, with outerwear retailing for 1500 to 2000 dollars, 568 dollars for cashmere sweaters, 298 dollars for fine gauge wool, 398 to 598 dollars for knitwear, sport coats for 1500, and suits for 2500.

The majority of the pieces are expected to be featured in Brooks Brothers stores later this year.

In regards to the new collection, Lou Amendola, chief merchandising officer, told WWD that “Customers are looking for newness, and a reason to shop. For us Golden Fleece is very true to our tradition with an elevated, sophisticated style made with the most luxurious natural fabrics combined with innovative technical fabrics and production.”
