Fossil partners with Tangiblee for cross-category, virtual try-on experience

Fossil's new virtual try-on, powered by Tangiblee Credits: FashionUnited

Lifestyle and accessories brand Fossil has partnered with 3D and augmented reality (AR) platform Tangiblee to offer its customers a cross-category, stackable virtual try-on experience.

One of the first within the watch and accessories segment to implement the immersive shopping and AR solution, US customers can now visit Fossil.com and virtually try on multiple categories of accessories, including watches, bracelets, and rings, via one seamless, interactive platform.

Implemented across Fossil's website, customers can search for the "try on & compare size" call to action button to try the new tool. By scanning a QR code using a smartphone, customers are taken to the Tangiblee platform, where they can see how eligible Fossil products look on their own hands and wrists using the phone's camera.

In addition to virtually trying on products, customers can try on several pieces at a time using the stacking toggle in the bottom right corner. This virtual try-on multi-category feature gives customers the opportunity to visualize different combinations among rings, watches and bracelets.

Currently only available to customers in the US, Fossil is set to expand the shopping tool to its global websites as well as additional product categories such as necklaces and earrings to enhance its stackable experience.
