Lifestyle brand Free People is set to relocate its flagship store on Regent Street to Argyll Street, in line with its wider retail strategy for the UK.

The current flagship store on Regent Street will continue operating as normal until December 24, 2025, before closing in preparation for the move. The new location will open sometime in spring 2026 and will feature an elevated retail experience that is designed to reflect Free People’s high-end aesthetic, while showcasing the brand’s essence.

The relocation is part of Free People’s UK push, and comes after the retailer shared plans to open a new store in Edinburgh, Scotland, this coming January. The store will be Free People’s debut location in Scotland, and the brand is set to share more news in the next few weeks.

“The UK is the cornerstone of our international growth strategy, and we are thrilled with the response from our British customer base,” said Chris Worthington, Managing Director of International for Free People, in a statement.

“As we evolve our physical footprint, our focus is increasingly on finding unique locations that allow us to immerse our customers in the Free People brand experience. We’re prioritizing locations that give us the creative flexibility to design compelling, distinct zones that allow us to tell our complete brand story in a more dynamic and expansive way.”

Free People’s other London city locations will continue to operate as normal during the transition.
