Louis Leeman, the luxury Parisian men's shoe label, can now call Madison Avenue home. The brand, which was founded by husband-and-wife team Louis Leeman and Erica Pelosini in 2012, have opened their first shop on the Northeast corner of 67th avenue after considering locations in both Paris and lower Manhattan. “We looked around downtown, but chose Madison because it reaches an international customer and you need a big storefront downtown,” Leeman said to WWD.

The store is an intimate 525 square foot space designed by David Collins Studio was made to replicate a Parisian living room. It's probably one of the few retail stores in the world where there is no cash wrap or register in sight. The boutique is decorated with purple couches and even has a homely fireplace.

Of course, being aesthetically pleasing to the eye is not enough to win over the public, so Leeman and Pelosini make sure to provide excellent customer service as well. They will also have a cobbler on hand to provide custom services. In the past, they have offered custom made shoes at their trunk shows, but this is the first time they will be able to offer customized shoes at a brick-and-mortar location.

The custom service does come with a 20 percent upcharge on the brand's already luxurious price tag, which can range anywhere from 495 dollars to 1395 dollars. In addition to their new brick-and-mortar, Louis Leeman also sells their shoes in luxury department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Fred Segal. Currently, the brand has taken their attention away from wholesale to work on creating more brick-and-mortar locations.

Some potential sites they are also looking at are London and Hong Kong. Their project sales for their new Madison Avenue store is 2 million dollars. With their passion for luxury and original Parisian flair, they are sure to arrive at their project sales goal no problem.
