Ballet flats have become an absolute must in every woman's wardrobe. They are more comfortable than high-heels, and can be dressed up or dressed down quite easily. Margaux, a fresh new brand, has decided that the ballet flat could use a little extra twist. They have launched made-to-measure ballet flats.

Alexa Buckley and Sarah Pierson, two young women who met at Harvard, launched the concept earlier this moth, and while some might be hesitant about the concept of made-to-measure flats, the two entrepreneurs know what they are doing. Their Fit Kit is known for capturing a perfect size and fit so they can create a ballet flat that will meet your comfortable shoe needs with flawless avail. “We wanted to make it a simple, seamless process,” said Pierson to Footwear News, with Buckley adding that there is something “very tactile, harkening back to the craftsmanship of the shoe” about sending someone a kit to jot down their singular shoe details. “It’s pretty intimate and easy – a nice balance to the modern innovate approach we are taking with our website.”

Turnaround time for the shoes is two weeks, so while it isn't the perfect shoe for someone looking for something quickly or expedited, it's sure worth the wait. The shoes are priced at 195 dollars and have a slight stacked heel, making them a little better for your feet than some of those completely flat at the bottom flats. Standard sizes are available in Spain, while custom fitted pairs get made in New York City, making it the perfect shoe for that fashion girl looking for a little comfort and a shoe that is still chic.
