It's no secret that men's fashion is one of the biggest growing markets right now. With the launch of the first standalone NYFW: Men's this year, and brands like Coach growing their men's category, 2015 was a big year for men's wear. Matchesfashion.com certainly took notice to this, and has big plans for expanding their men's offerings going forward.

While 80 percent of matchesfahion.com is women's wear, they have reported that men's wear is their fastest growing category. At a dinner last week at Berlin's Paul Saal, matchesfashion.com men's buyer Damian Paul told WWD that "There’s a general relaxation going on in men’s wear, the styles have become looser and more undone." Paul went on to add that: "Coming in next season, there will be a big nineties revival, a grungy thing with Damir Doma as one of our newest additions.”

According to matchesfashion.com ceo Ulric Jerome, Germany is one of the company's biggest markets, so, they will be working on expanding there. As of the present moment, the company has no plans for an IPO, preferring to remain independent. A representative for matchesfashion.com wasn't immediately available for comment in regards to the exact pace they are setting for growing their men's wear offerings.
