Men's Wearhouse, one of the leading retailers of men's clothing and accessories in the US, announced the opening of a new store in Harker Heights, Texas, today. The opening comes a week after Men's Wearhouse opened a store in Prosper, Texas.

The new store spans close to 6,000 square feet and features Men's Wearhouse's broad assortment of apparel and accessories. Located in the Market Heights Shopping Center, the store opening marks the second of six new stores the menswear retailer aims to open across the state over the next coming months.

Harker Heights represents a significant expansion in the physical store footprint of the menswear retailer, and it's notably situated near Ft. Cavazos, among the nation's largest military installations. Reflecting the retailer's deep-rooted dedication to veteran groups, Men's Wearhouse has a history of supporting those who have served the United States and their families.

In a recent announcement, the menswear retailer, a subsidiary of Tailored Brands, revealed a substantial donation of 6.5 million US dollars to various US veteran service organizations, a sum accumulated through the generous contributions of its customers.

"Harker Heights is an incredibly important community to us and the perfect choice for our next retail location," said John Tighe, president of Tailored Brands, in a statement. "We look forward to serving our customers - civilians, military, and their families - with the exceptional service and dedicated retail experience we have become known for."

Following the opening of the Harker Heights store, Men's Wearhouse increased its retail footprint to 634 locations across the US. In addition to expanding its physical retail presence, Men's Wearhouse is also investing in its omnichannel services, such as its new Wedding Wingman tool, to improve its customer experience online.
