Opening its doors on May 30, the flagship store represents a significant milestone for the brand, serving as a destination for sport, culture, fashion, and community. The new flagship will debut a series of exclusive product launches, customization, and surprise appearances. It will also host events around the year linked to some of the city’s largest cultural and sporting moments, including the FIFA World Cup 2026, the MLB All-Star Game, WAWA Welcome America, and more, positioning Mitchell & Ness as an active participant in Philadelphia’s cultural calendar.

“Philadelphia is our home, and this store represents the next chapter of our commitment to the city that built Mitchell & Ness,” said Emilie Arel, President of Mitchell & Ness, in a statement. “While we’ve long had a presence here, this new space allows us to create something bigger, an experience that reflects the full depth of our nearly 125-year legacy at the intersection of sport, culture, and fashion.”

The flagship store features more than 2,200 square feet of men’s sportswear, including jerseys, authentic, swingman, and legacy styles, as well as 120 headwear styles spanning Philadelphia teams and beyond. It will also carry expanded collections for women and youth. Two of the store’s floors are dedicated to retail, and the third will serve as an event and gathering space reserved for community programs, exclusive activations, and fan experiences.

The flagship's opening coincides with one of the most significant years in Philadelphia's recent cultural calendar. In its first six months of opening, the store will serve as a hub for a series of major moments, including watch parties for the FIFA World Cup 2026, WAWA Welcome America, the 2026 MLB All-Star Game, the NFL and NBA season kickoffs, and Philadelphia WNBA Recognition events. A collaboration with the Philadelphia Museum of Art is also planned, alongside ongoing programming such as TOPPS trading card breaking events, player meet-and-greets, and exclusive product drops.

Customers visiting the flagship on opening weekend will be among the first to access branded exclusive merchandise available only at the Philadelphia store, with additional exclusive drops and collaborative releases set to be revealed closer to launch.

The flagship opening also builds on Mitchell & Ness's well-established collaboration track record, which spans music, fashion, and street culture, with past partners including Bad Bunny, Mac Miller, Billie Eilish, Playboi Carti, Meek Mill, Levi's, Aimé Leon Dore, Kith, and BAPE. The brand has also hinted at more to come for headwear customers, teasing that "headwear hardware is coming."

Mitchell & Ness was founded in 1904 on Filbert Street in Philadelphia by tennis champion Frank P. Mitchell and golfer Charles M. Ness.
