Reiss plans international store expansion

London - UK fashion retailer Reiss is planning further international expansion with several new flagship stores set to open. The first is due to open on Madison Avenue in New York, adding to its American store portfolio. The second will debut in Australia with two stores planned to open in Melbourne.

Reiss currently operates five stores in New York, with other American stores in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, Maryland, Illinois and Virginia.

The company also recently announced it would open its first store in France at the beginning of next year.

The international expansion plans come after Reiss saw a 10 percent rise in sales to 128 million pounds last year, with operating profits almost quadrupling to 13.7 million pounds.
