Shinola to open two Los Angeles stores in 2016

Los Angeles - Luxury brand Shinola is coming to SoCal. The brand just confirmed that it will be opening two locations located in Los Angeles. The two store locations will be in Venice and downtown Los Angeles.

Shinola has implemented major expansion plans in the past couple of months. The brand recently opened two flagships in Northern California including a store in Palo Alto as well as San Francisco. Both stores, which were 1,700 square feet and 3,200 square feet respectively, opened in a way to expand the brand’s reach to the Bay Area.

Continuing onward with these expansion plans, Shinola will open two more locations in California. One store will be located in Los Angeles’ Arts District, as reported by Racked LA. The second store will open in Venice off of fashion strip Abbot Kinney. Dates are not confirmed, but the Detroit-based brand plans to open these stores within the year.

In the future, Shinola has also disclosed that it plans to open stores in Brooklyn and Chicago as well. However, when these stores open California will have the highest number of Shinola locations for the East Coast brand.
