Suitsupply, the European-based brand known for their affordable, yet high quality suits, has opened its first store in Brooklyn on Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg. Located at 57 Wythe Avenue, the store is a welcome addition to the street known for other retailers including J. Crew, Kinfolk, and Baggu.

The new 1200-square-foot store offers a vibrant atmosphere where customers can shop seasonal suits, jackets, shoes, outerwear, accessories and attire, in addition to the brand's core Never-Out-Of-Stock collection and Custom Made to Measure tailoring. All stylists in the store have gone through Suitsupply's rigorous training program and know how to provide clients with every specification they need.

Suitsupply's goal with this new store and their company is to combat the domination of fast-fashion by bringing a refined aesthetic to the world of men's fashion and tailoring. All fabrics the brand uses are sustainable, and tailoring is done on-site while clients wait.

Suitsupply is currently on track to open two stores a month globally throughout the rest of 2018. In June, the company will be opening a Boston location as well. In a challenging environment for brick-and-mortar, the company, which originally started off as an e-commerce platform, has been doing very well with their physical retail locations.

When looking to see where they should open stores next, they focus on cities where they are getting the best e-commerce traffic. Currently, the company has 100 stores worldwide between the U.S., Europe and Asia. Last year, Suitsupply also launched womenswear.
