With consumers shopping from multiple online retailers, keeping track of packages and delivery times can be overwhelming. However, with Route — a smartphone app that allows users can use to visually track online orders from multiple retailers — everything is in one place.

“Our goal with Route is to simplify — make order tracking modern and visual, creating a better shopping experience for consumers,” said Route CEO and founder, Evan Walker, in a press release from the brand. The app uses technology to make the post-shopping experience smoother, using a customer’s email to find tracking information and then populate that data onto a visual map. At the moment, Route has over 800 merchant partners including brands such as Planet Blue, Thread Wallets, Michael Todd Beauty, and more.

In addition, the app offers the option of Route Plus, which allows its merchant partners to fully insure packages for 1 percent of the total cart value. Once a shopper adds this feature onto the order at checkout, the order is activated with one-click refunds and reorders for any packages that are damaged, lost or stolen.

“Route Plus creates a premium shopping experience for online ordering, and effortless shipping solutions to their customers with just a few taps,” Walker said in a statement. “Current Route Plus merchants are seeing an 8-12 percent conversion increase due to higher shipping confidence.”

Currently, the Route app is invite-only, and customers can get on the waitlist on the brand’s website.
