Carbonfact has collated this into a comprehensive resource, showcasing advancements in eco-conscious materials used in production around the world. Spotlighting Groundbreaking Initiatives
The guide contains 50 process and material innovations, such as:
- CleanCloud Technology (On): On utilizes CleanCloud technology, creating the first shoe made entirely from carbon emissions, turning greenhouse gases into a valuable resource rather than a pollutant.
- Algae-Based Midsoles (Lane-Eight): By repurposing harmful algae, Lane-Eight creates midsoles that not only provide comfort but also restore clean water and reduce CO2 levels.
- Mexican Cactus Fibers (ASICS): ASICS has introduced shoes made from cactus fibers, which significantly cut CO2 emissions compared to traditional leather.
