Barneys online sales end

Barneys has ceased its online liquidation sales, with Barneys.com now redirecting to Saks Fifth Avenue's website, and Barneyswarehouse.com now redirecting to Saks Off 5th's website. The remaining merchandise from the websites will be transferred to Barneys stores that are scheduled to close. Store clearance at Barneys will continue through January and potentially February.

When Barneys was purchased by Authentic Brands Group, part of their plan was to open Barneys stores as 40 shop in shops within Saks Fifth Avenue. Barneys has continued marking down its merchandise as the liquidation sale continues. Merchandise is going for half of the retail price, and even more than half in some cases.

The Madison Avenue flagship store is expected to remain open through fall of 2020 as Authentic Brands Group negotiates with the landlord. The new era of Barneys at Saks is slowly approaching, although it is still unclear as to exactly how that will look.
