Y-3 by Adidas just opened a new store in Los Angeles on La Brea Avenue. The new flagship opened on the strip as the brand's fourth flagship in the United States.

The store has neighboring streetwear brands nearby including Union, Stussy, and more. With the new flagship, Y-3 has expanded its total count to over 100, as reported by WWD. The new space gives customers "a chance to interact with the brand on a more tangible level," Torben Schumacher, general manager of Adidas Originals, told Hypebeast.com.

The brand chose Los Angeles for this particular shop to increase its presence in the U.S. As a strong market in fashion, it's a strategic move for Y-3 to target capital cities including the likes of L.A. “We saw such success and excitement among our customers when we opened the previous pop-up shops [in the U.S.], and we felt it was time to re-establish a presence and continue to build momentum in the city," he told WWD.

The store totals 1,500 square feet and will retails Y-3's upcoming spring collection. As the 3 represents Adidas' iconic three stripes, the brand is meant to embody a more minimalist style. The new flagship will retail womenswear, menswear, and a re-release of the collection that was launched at the previous ComplexCon held in Long Beach earlier this year.
