Sézane launches maternity collection

Sézane has unveiled an exclusive capsule collection of maternity wear designed in Paris. The pieces went through several trial runs and fit tests to be baby bump approved. The pieces include Sézane’s popular Thalia and Ylona dresses.

The brand has also created their best-selling trousers in a maternity style. The maternity style involves a soft, knitted band that can stretch over the waist.

Other popular styles from the brand that are now offered in maternity include their Gaspard, Will, and Tomboy all crafted by Sézane’s Italian and Portuguese ateliers. The collection is titled “9 months for life”.

Maternity wear is still a market expected to see growth even as we work on exiting the COVID-19 pandemic and people are shopping less. The global maternity wear market is expected to expand at a CAGR of 4.3 percent from 2019 to 2025, according to Grand View Research. The market growth is attributed to an increased focus on pregnancy fashion and more working women in developing and emerging countries.
