Detroit-based brand Shinola is teaming up with Lauren Bush Lauren's Feed for a limited run of 170 tote bags that will fund meals for families and children in need in Detroit. The proceeds will go towards Forgotten Harvest, a food rescue organization in the Detroit area.
The price point for the bag is 195 dollars, and has a leather piece stamped "100" to symbolize the 100 meals that will be provided to children and families in Detroit with each purchase. It is offered in two color ways, navy and natural and orange and neutral. The bag will launch online and at Shinola stores in Detroit, Washington D.C., and New York on June 23.
To celebrate the launch of the bag, Shinola will be hosting a music block at their Washington D.C. store and at their Shinola x Fancy pop-up at Gurney's Montauk Resort in New York from June 23 to June 26.
Feed was founded by Lauren Bush Lauren in 2007 to fight World Hunger. Since the program's inception, Feed's bags and accessories have helped provide over 94 million meals to families in the U.S. and around the world.
