It was only just a year ago that Roland Mouret made its home at a cozy flagship store at 925 Madison Avenue. That cozy little flagship wasn't enough for the brand, however. They have announced that they will be moving into a new flagship location almost four times the size of the current one.

Their new flagship store will be a six floor townhouse at 1006 Madison Avenue that is 5,250-square-feet. “Roland Mouret has selected the ideal location on the Upper East Side for its new flagship store,” Joseph Sitt, CEO of Thor Equities, the owners of the property for the new location, said in a statement. “With the Apple Store opening on 940 Madison Avenue and the Metropolitan Museum of Art coming to 945 Madison Avenue, this corridor continues to grow in stature as a premier destination for both locals and international visitors.”

The concept for Mouret's new flagship store is very similar to the concept of his London store in Mayfair which is also a six story townhouse. The new Madison Avenue store features twenty-foot ceilings, and is right next to Intermix, Vilebrequin, Missoni, The Carlyle Hotel, and the Mark Hotel. More space will certainly mean more product and customers, so, Roland Mouret is taking the right steps toward growing their label.
