IT Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic IT Procurement Analyst to join our IT Business Operations team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our IT and Finance departments to support the procurement process for IT-related products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing procurement data, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the effective acquisition of IT-related goods and services. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Essential Job Functions

  • Create and manage purchase orders for IT goods and services, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Facilitate the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to financial analysis and budgeting for IT procurement, including cost forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Work closely with IT and Finance teams to identify requirements, assess needs, and source cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform market research to identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Participate in the optimization of procurement processes and implementation of efficiency improvements.

Job Requirements 

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Oracle, ServiceNow and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and financial concepts preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus but not required.

The annual salary range for this position is $72,000-$125,000 USD.
